"When I grow up, I want to be a...."
This is how many 4th graders begin their sentence on Career Day. It's usually followed by "policeman", "astronaut". or even "NBA star"... but the answer isn't what's important. The important thing is that these children start to think about their futures.
Honestly most 10yr olds have no idea of what the future holds for them, but that's around the age that they begin learning skills that will develop who they are.
Whether it's helping their uncle fix cars, their mom prepare taxes, or any number of things; this age is critical for developing the skills they will use for the rest of their lives.

Each one, Teach one.
The Kru Klub is based on career exploration. We team-up with local business owners & tradesmen, and volunteers to give children a sample of various careers in our attempt to allow these kids to find their interests.
We ask for community businesses to donate time to teach children the general knowledge of their trade. At the completion of 20 hours, children will receive an Activity Badge to show their accomplishment; and an experience that will last a lifetime.
